Diu's beaches aren't Goa-wide or dramatic — their charm is tidiness and calm, and Nagoa is the tidiest of all. The bay curls into a natural horseshoe, so the water stays flat and clear, and the beach backs onto stands of Hoka palms — the branching doum-type palm found almost nowhere else in India. The result is a beach that reads instantly as "Diu" in any postcard.
It's also the practical heart of island tourism: shacks serving seafood and chai, umbrellas and loungers for rent, water-sports operators working from the north end, and parking right behind the sand. Families love the shallow, shelving entry; couples get sunset without the Sunset-Point crowds further north.
